That's what friends are for...

The different categories of friends:

1. The FUN bunch - basically, they are the party animals. They are those who are real fun to party, club and play with. But you may not really know each other on a deeper level.

2. The bunch which you may easily fall into the trap of taking them for granted - more often than not, we only "dare to" take people for granted when you are already on super close terms, the second or third in rank to your own family members and loved ones. It's human nature.

So this group of people are the ones who know you - almost - inside out. They've seen you in your best and worst state. They are the ones who you have no qualms of calling, even in the wee hours, if you need to let off some steam, or when you fall real hard in your career or love life and need a listening ear, advice and assurance, or simply whenever you feel bitchy. But so, this is also the group of people who can threaten you with all your little secrets. Hah!

You may further divide this group into two sub-groups -- those who you meet frequently to hang out; and those who you may not meet that often, yet by one way or another, you know how each of you is doing. And when you guys do meet, conversation just easily picks up from where you both left it the last time. Amazing, isn't it?

You need different kind of friends in different time/stages in your life.

One friend mentioned to me that she thinks I'm quite lucky. Most of my friends pamper and give in to me a lot. (**of course la.. I so 人见人爱。。。I also give in a lot to them mah, just that you dunno...**)

All of a sudden, I lost my train of thoughts... hmmm.. brain dead now... Better go zzz now...

History tends to repeat itself...

I always tell myself that...

1. I will start searching for CNY clothes starting from Christmas time, and never do last minute CNY shopping.

But, every year, you are bound to hear me ranting "I haven't bought my clothes yet! How? How? How?" and see me doing the super last minute shopping.

2. I will start spring cleaning earlier next year.

But when the time really draws near, you see me procrastinating until the last two weekends before you see me scrambling...

But well... it's MY part and parcel of the annual CNY preparation... I'll try to make sure next year, I will start searching for my CNY clothes earlier and my spring cleaning earlier... ... as always...

Happy Lunar New Year, everyone!
